Todd McLellan’s Disassembly
We came across Todd McLellan’s portfolio site to see an interesting new project called Disassembly. This is a new work that Todd has put some real effort in, and as a result you can see the attention to detail that goes into every photograph.
For this project he gathered discarded electronics, with many vintage objects such as a rotary telephone, push mower and Pentax SLR camera. He then dismantled every piece of these objects down, setting them up in an attractive arrangement that will have you staring at them for a while. Every component is set up in some kind of order, but overall the pieces appear as a dissembled chaos -creating a very interesting visual.
Todd McLellan is a Canadian photographer who is part of Sugino Studios, which is based in Toronto. He does motion and stills work commercially for various big name companies. Check out his website to view some more of his very talented work!
